FenceMate solves a problem every neighbourhood faces: the awkward, risky process of organising a shared fence between two properties. Who pays what? What if the job isn't done right? What if one neighbour flakes after the other has committed?

Instead of verbal agreements and handwritten notes, FenceMate brings the structure of a smart contract to a neighbourhood fence project — without requiring either party to understand blockchain or smart contracts.

The Tech

FenceMate uses LLM vision models to compare before/after photos at completion, helping neighbours objectively verify work was done. Escrow funds are released automatically according to the agreed payment schedule.
